This investigation was promoted by FELABAN'S -(Federation of Latin American Banks) Federación Latinoamericana de Bancos- Secretaryship and was carried out with its' permanent auspice and support.

This study identified the best bank practices in the following countries, also identifying the Regional Practices (Central America and Latin America):

3,000 copies were published, and were given out mostly to the assistants of the XLI Federation of Latin American Banks Annual Meeting. The work was presented by its' investigators in front of more than 1,300 assistants in Miami, where it took place during the 4th, 5th and 6th of November 2007. We hope this text is taken as a guide book for financial entities in order to empower their a Good-Governance management techniques.

This investigation took place under the Institutional Empowerment Actions development frame with the Colombian Public Entities that belong to the Efficiency and Accountability program the USAID operates, under the Casals  & Associates' Inc supervision.
We hope this text becomes of use for the Public Ethics Empowerment Management, generating an Integrity conscience on the country's Public Administration.
